Upper Cretaceous, 96 Million Years Old

Discovered and named in 2018 by paleontologists Nick Longrich, David Martill, and Brian Andres, Tethydraco Regalis is a rare pteranodontid species from the Upper Cretaceous Couche III beds at Morocco’s Sidi Daoui phosphate mines. Originating from the final million years of the Mesozoic Era, this fossil represents one of the last pterosaurs before the K-Pg Extinction. Featuring an isolated humerus as its holotype along with additional limb bones, this “royal Tethys dragon” connects you to the ancient Tethys Ocean, offering a unique piece of prehistoric history to own and admire.
