Name: Gryposaurus

Gryposaurus was a genus of duck-billed dinosaurs that lived approximately 83 to 75 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period in North America. It exhibited various types of scalation, including pyramidal, ridged, and limpet-shaped scutes on its flanks and tail. Known as a duck-billed dinosaur because of its specialized mouth for snipping vegetation, it features a prominent nasal arch formed by paired nasal bones that rise into a rounded hump in front of the eyes, reaching a height comparable to the tallest part of the skull's back. Unlike the lambeosaurine hadrosaurids, Gryposaurus did not have an elaborate hollow crest; however, it may have possessed a soft tissue display structure instead of a hollow bony crest.
