Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous in Northern Africa. It was one of the biggest carcharodontosaurids, comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops and slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus, reaching about 12 meters in length, around 3.5 meters at the hips, and weighing approximately 7 tonnes. Its arms were relatively short but still longer than those of T. rex, and they were strong with three claws on each hand. It had a large head equipped with over 60 blade-like teeth, each about 20 cm (8 inches) long, suited for piercing and tearing flesh. Its prey likely included dinosaurs such as juvenile sauropods and ornithopods.
