Size: 7 to 8 meters in length

Hadrosaurus, a remarkable genus of hadrosaurid ornithopod dinosaurs, roamed North America during the Late Cretaceous Period, roughly 80 to 78 million years ago. Weighing between 2 and 4 tons, these primarily four-legged creatures could rise on their powerful hind legs to access higher foliage or swiftly flee predators by running bipedally. Their intricate dental structure boasted up to 1,400 teeth, enabling efficient feeding. Though their forelimbs were less robust than the hindlimbs, they were perfectly suited for standing and movement. Resembling Kritosaurus and later hadrosaurids like Edmontosaurus, Hadrosaurus offers a fascinating glimpse into prehistoric life.
