Tylosaurus is a genus of large marine reptiles called mosasaurs that existed during the Late Cretaceous period, roughly 85 to 65 million years ago. These animals were top predators and are regarded as some of the largest mosasaurs ever found. Although fossils of Tylosaurus have been discovered in regions such as North America, Europe, and Australia, there is no evidence indicating that Tylosaurus lived in Morocco.
