Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous in Northern Africa. It was among the biggest Carcharadontosaurids, comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, but slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. It measured about 12 meters in length, stood roughly 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed around 7 tonnes. Its arms were relatively short but still longer than those of T. rex, and they were strong with three claws on each hand. The dinosaur had a massive head with over 60 blade-like teeth, each about 20 cm (8 inches) long, designed to pierce and tear flesh. Its prey likely included young sauropods and ornithopods.
