Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous period in Northern Africa. Among the biggest Carcharadontosaurids, it was comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, though slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. This dinosaur measured about 12 meters in length, stood approximately 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed nearly 7 tonnes. Its arms were relatively short but still longer and stronger than those of T. rex, each ending with three claws. Its sizable skull contained more than 60 blade-shaped teeth, each around 20 cm (8 inches) long, adapted to slice through the flesh of prey such as juvenile sauropods and ornithopods.

Please be aware of the nature of fossils:
Being buried under the ground for millions of years under tons of pressure tends to be rough. No fossil comes out of the ground whole and perfect. Most fossils have undergone some restoration, while others are altered by man simply to enhance their presentation in different ways. The workers in Morocco do a very professional job of unearthing and preserving these natural treasures. These are part of the natural beauty of the fossil and are not considered defects.
