Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous in Northern Africa. It ranked among the biggest Carcharadontosaurids, similar in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, though slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. It reached about 12 meters in length, stood approximately 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed around 7 tonnes. Its arms, while relatively short, were still longer and stronger than those of T. rex, each ending with three claws. Its large head contained over 60 blade-shaped teeth, each about 20 cm long, which were perfectly suited for catching and tearing the flesh of prey like young sauropods and ornithopods.
