The Spinosaurus was a colossal dinosaur that dominated the rivers and coasts of North Africa around 100 million years ago. Measuring up to 49 feet in length and weighing as much as 6 tons, it surpasses all other carnivorous dinosaurs in size. Its long, narrow skull resembled a crocodile’s, perfect for catching fish, while its towering dorsal sail added a distinctive silhouette. Spinosaurus’ unique combination of size, anatomy, and possible semi-aquatic hunting makes it one of the most fascinating theropods of the prehistoric world.

Please be aware of the nature of fossils:

Being buried underground for millions of years under immense pressure can be harsh. Rarely does a fossil emerge intact and perfect. Most fossils require some restoration, and some are even modified by humans to improve their appearance. Moroccan workers excel at carefully excavating and preserving these natural treasures, but natural cracks are often visible on the surface. These cracks are part of the fossil's natural beauty and are not flaws.
