Lived around the Late Cretaceous Period, approximately 65 million years ago.

Name: Camarasaurus

Diet: Herbivore

Size: 18 meters in length

Camarasaurus thrived during the Late Jurassic Period, around 145 to 155 million years ago. Measuring up to 18 meters, they were smaller than some sauropods like diplodocids and brachiosaurs but boasted immense strength, weighing about 25 tons. With powerful legs, a robust neck and tail, and a rounded head, they were well-equipped herbivores. Their sharp, chisel-shaped teeth chopped through vegetation with ease. While the Allosaurus was their chief threat, adult Camarasaurus were generally too huge to be targeted. They stood out with shorter necks and tails, blunt snouts, and large spoon-shaped teeth, and their nostrils sat boldly in front of their eyes, unlike other sauropods.
