Unakite is a metamorphic rock composed primarily of pink orthoclase feldspar, green epidote, and quartz. It is typically found in shades of green and pink, with mottled patterns that give it a unique and visually appealing appearance. Unakite forms through the metamorphism of granite, during which plagioclase feldspar in the granite is transformed into orthoclase feldspar and epidote.
