This is a genuine Tooth fossil.

Late Cretaceous through to the Eocene, 100 million to 50 million years ago

Often called the Saber-toothed herring, Enchodus is actually more closely related to salmon. Its teeth were ideally suited for gripping small, slippery prey like fish and cephalopods such as squid, held within a wide-open mouth. These characteristics show that while the teeth were excellent for capturing prey, they weren’t designed to tear off small pieces. Instead, after spearing its catch, Enchodus likely used quick, repetitive jaw movements to skillfully manipulate and consume its prey. This unique fossil fang is an exceptional addition for anyone interested in prehistoric marine life.

Please be aware of the nature of fossils:

Being buried under the ground for millions of years under tons of pressure tends to be rough. No fossil comes out of the ground whole and perfect. Most fossils have undergone some restoration, while others are altered by man simply to enhance their presentation in different ways. The workers in Morocco do a very professional job of unearthing and preserving these natural treasures; however, commonly, natural cracks are visible on the surface. These are part of the natural beauty of the fossil and are not considered defects.
