Name: Triceratops

Size: 8 to 9 meters long.
Triceratops, a herbivorous genus of Ceratopsid dinosaurs, emerged in the Late Cretaceous period approximately 68 million years ago, weighing between 5 to 9 metric tons. This sizeable quadrupedal dinosaur is distinguished by its three prominent horns and a bony frill extending from the rear of its skull. Its notably large skull featured a short neck frill with two long horns above the eyes and a smaller nasal horn on the snout. The frill's edge was adorned with numerous small spikes. Sharing its habitat with the formidable Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Triceratops was likely a common target for this apex predator.
