Name: Camarasaurus

Size: 18 meters in length
Camarasaurus was a group of herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Jurassic Period, approximately 145 to 155 million years ago. Growing up to 18 meters long and weighing around 25 tons, Camarasaurus was smaller than some other sauropods of its time, such as diplodocids and brachiosaurs, but still an impressively strong and massive creature.
This dinosaur had sturdy legs, a powerful neck and tail, and a rounded head, making it well-adapted to its plant-eating lifestyle. Its chisellike, spoon-shaped teeth allowed it to efficiently chop and consume vegetation. While predators like Allosaurus posed a threat, adult Camarasaurus were generally too large to be attacked.
Camarasaurus is easily recognized by its shorter neck and tail, snub-nosed skull, and nostrils positioned in front of the eyes, unlike brachiosaurs or diplodocids. These unique features make Camarasaurus one of the most fascinating and iconic dinosaurs of the Late Jurassic era.
