Triceratops, the fierce herbivore of the Late Cretaceous about 68 million years ago, weighed a staggering 5 to 9 metric tons. This massive four-legged dinosaur sported three bold horns and a rugged bone frill crowning its enormous skull. The two towering horns soared above its eyes, while a smaller nasal horn jutted from its snout. Along the edge of its frill, sharp spikes added to its intimidating look. Dominating its domain, Triceratops faced off against the legendary Tyrannosaurus Rex, a true titan clash of prehistoric power.
