Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous period in Northern Africa. It ranked among the largest carcharodontosaurids, similar in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, and slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. The predator measured approximately 12 meters in length, stood about 3.5 meters at the hips, and weighed nearly 7 tonnes. Its arms, though shorter, were still longer than those of T. rex, robust, and had three claws on each hand. Its large head contained over 60 sharp, blade-like teeth around 20 cm long, making it well-suited to catch and tear prey such as juvenile sauropods and ornithopods.
