It belongs to the family Spinosauridae, which includes other well-known dinosaurs such as Spinosaurus and Baryonyx. Suchomimus was first discovered in the Republic of Niger.
One of the most distinctive features of Suchomimus is its long, narrow snout filled with numerous sharp teeth.
