Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus is a large theropod dinosaur from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous period in Northern Africa. As one of the largest members of the carcharodontosaurids, it rivaled genera like Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops in size and was slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. It reached approximately 12 meters in length, stood about 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed around 7 tonnes. Its relatively short but robust arms, longer than those of T. rex, each bore three claws. The dinosaur's sizable skull housed over 60 blade-shaped teeth, each measuring about 20 cm (8 inches), specialized for piercing and tearing the flesh of prey, likely including juvenile sauropods and ornithopods.
