Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous in Northern Africa. It was among the largest carcharodontosaurids, comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, but slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. This dinosaur measured approximately 12 meters in length, stood about 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed around 7 tonnes. Its arms were relatively short but longer and stronger than those of T. rex, each ending in three claws. It had a large skull with over 60 blade-like teeth measuring about 20 cm (8 inches), adapted to pierce and tear the flesh of prey like juvenile sauropods and ornithopods.
