Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cenomanian age of the Late Cretaceous in Northern Africa. It ranked among the largest carcharodontosaurids, comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, although slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. This dinosaur reached lengths of about 12 meters, stood around 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed approximately 7 tonnes. Its arms were relatively short but still longer and stronger compared to T. rex’s, each bearing three claws. With a large skull housing over 60 sharp, blade-like teeth measuring up to 20 cm (8 inches), it was well equipped to catch and tear the flesh of prey like young sauropods and ornithopods.
