Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cenomanian age of the Late Cretaceous period in Northern Africa. It was among the largest Carcharadontosaurids, comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, and slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus. This dinosaur reached about 12 meters in length, stood roughly 3.5 meters tall at the hips, and weighed around 7 tonnes. Its arms, although relatively short, were longer and stronger than those of T. rex and featured three claws on each hand. The large head held more than 60 blade-like teeth measuring approximately 20 cm (8 inches), perfectly suited for piercing and tearing the flesh of prey, likely including young sauropods and ornithopods.
