Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus was a towering theropod predator ruling Northern Africa during the Cenomanian age of the Late Cretaceous. As one of the biggest Carcharadontosaurids, it matched the ferocity and size of Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops, just a step behind the giant Giganotosaurus. Measuring about 12 meters long and 3.5 meters tall at the hips, weighing around 7 tonnes, its powerful arms—longer than a T. rex’s—and three sharp claws were weapons in their own right. Its massive head sported over 60 blade-like teeth, each 20 cm long, built to rip through the flesh of prey, such as young sauropods and ornithopods, without mercy.
