Name: Carcharodontosaurus
Type: Carnivore
Size: 12 meters in length.
Carcharodontosaurus, a notable genus of large theropod dinosaur from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous in Northern Africa, stands among the largest members of the Carcharadontosaurid family. Comparable in size to Tyrannotitan and Sauroniops but slightly smaller than Giganotosaurus, it measured approximately 12 meters in length, 3.5 meters in height at the hips, and weighed around 7 tonnes. Its comparatively short yet powerful arms—longer than those of T. rex—featured three strong claws each. The dinosaur’s substantial skull housed over 60 blade-shaped teeth, each about 20 cm (8 inches) long, specialized for piercing and tearing the flesh of prey, likely including juvenile sauropods and ornithopods.

Please be aware of the nature of fossils:
Being buried under the ground for millions of years under tons of pressure tends to be rough. No fossil comes out of the ground whole and perfect. Most fossils have undergone some restoration, while others are altered by man simply to enhance their presentation in different ways. The workers in Morocco do a very professional job of unearthing and preserving these natural treasures. These are part of the natural beauty of the fossil and are not considered defects.
