Mosasaur Curri is a significant fossil discovery that was found in Morocco. Mosasaurs were a group of large marine reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. They were highly adapted for life in the ocean and were apex predators of their time.

The Mosasaur Curri was discovered in the phosphate mines of Khouribga, Morocco, which is known for its rich fossil deposits. The specimen was named after the collector, Mohammed Curri, who found it in 2014. It is one of the most complete and well-preserved mosasaur specimens ever found, providing valuable insights into the anatomy and biology of these ancient reptiles.

The Mosasaur Curri belongs to the genus Prognathodon, which is a type of mosasaur characterized by its elongated snout and robust teeth. It measures approximately 8 meters (26 feet) in length, making it one of the largest known mosasaurs. The fossil includes a nearly complete skull, as well as parts of the vertebral column and limb bones.
