Eudialyte is also known by the names Almandine Spar or Saami Blood. It is a minor ore of zirconium. This mineral is found in igneous rocks (rocks that form from the solidification of molten rock material). Eudialyte is fairly rare, and very delicate, having a Mohs hardness of 5-6. It is mined in both Canada and Russia. Although it is found in yellow, brown or blue crystals, bright magenta specimens are favored among collectors.
Metaphysical properties of gemstones and minerals are provided for informational purposes only, and no life altering results are guaranteed. Eudialyte is said to represent intuition, deep appreciation, and creativity, as well as acceptance of change. It is often associated with understanding one’s unique gifts, and with healing feelings of depression, low self-worth, and damaged relationships. Ease of decision-making and a positive body image are additional areas where this crystal mineral may assist. Equally loving and joyful, the stunning energy of eudialyte is both rich and dynamic promoting unity and release of negativity.
