These dinosaurs weighed between 2 and 4 tons and mostly moved on all fours, relying on their strong hind legs for support. They might have stood on their hind legs to reach higher plants and could run bipedally to avoid predators. Their teeth were complex, with as many as 1,400. Although their forelimbs were not as sturdy as their hind limbs, they were long enough to aid in standing and movement. Hadrosaurus resembled Kritosaurus, which lived alongside it, and later hadrosaurids like Edmontosaurus.

https://www.fossilageminerals.com/products/5-7-hadrosaur-dinosaur-fossil-vertebrae-bone-judith-river-formation-montana-coa-06jzz983
