It was a quadrupedal creature with a broad, sturdy body. Its skull was wide and low, featuring two backward-pointing horns from the back of the head and two additional horns below that pointed backward and downward, weighing around four tons. This extensive armor was vital for defense against the era's top predators, such as T. Rex, Deinonychus, and Tarbosaurus. The armor was further reinforced by rows of bony spikes along its sides and bony knobs on its back.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1250/0441/files/5U8A3769_d6dd2b3d-4de3-40b1-829b-4ed70301ecd1.jpg?v=1781797068
https://www.fossilageminerals.com/products/1-4-ankylosaurus-fossil-scute-bone-judith-river-fm-cretaceous-dinosaur-mt-coa-06jvv327
