They had three main facial horns - one on the nose and two on the brow. The elongated frill of Chasmosaurus had two large fenestra in the middle which would have had a skin covering in life giving the appearance of a 'solid' frill. Since the frill in these parts was soft tissue, they may have flushed blood into the area to make the colors even more vivid. Chasmosaurus lived alongside other dinosaurs such as the hadrosaurs Parasaurolophus and Corythosaurus, but there were probably many more considering that it lived in a wooded region.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1250/0441/files/5U8A3727_b54847c5-5e17-4ae3-998e-de7d12ed1ed7.jpg?v=1701344687
https://www.fossilageminerals.com/products/0-6-chasmosaurus-fossil-tooth-judith-river-fm-cretaceous-dinosaur-mt-coa-display-03nll528
